What is the difference between Aluminium and Electrostatic Powder-Coated Aluminium?
The fundamental difference between the two options lies in the surface coating technology and the level of outdoor durability. While the standard Aluminium option is coated with a baked liquid protective layer, Electrostatic Powder-Coated Aluminium (Al-St) is produced by fully bonding dry powder paint to the metal at high temperature. Thanks to this special process, the Al-St variant shows maximum resistance to scratches, impacts and, in particular, the corrosion caused by highly humid/salty environments such as the seaside, compared with the standard option. Offering maximum resistance to impacts, scratches and peeling, the Al-St option also has an elegant, lightly textured matt finish that does not show water marks or fingerprints.
Standard aluminium is sufficient for areas such as poolsides and gardens; the Al-St variant is recommended for seaside businesses, heavy commercial use and harsh weather conditions.
Cleaning and Care Instructions:To protect the texture of the painted aluminium surface, avoid abrasive sponges and aggressive chemical cleaners. We recommend neutral cleaners and water with a soft microfibre cloth.
